Funny things kids say!
Comments (48)I read this on the internet the other day. A mom was having trouble potty training her soon to be 3 yo. son and they had made a quick stop at a Taco Bell for lunch when the mom detected an odor. She first checked her baby and it's diaper was fine so she asked the boy if he had had an accident and the boy said no. She continued to eat and kept smelling poop and asked him again if he had an accident and he again said no. She began to get angry as she did not have a change of clothes for him and asked again if he had an accident and the boy got up, pulled his pants down, pointed his butt at his mom, and said see, no poop, it's farts, it's just farts! Everyone in the place about fell off thier chairs laughing their heads off. Jamie...See MoreFunny things kids say
Comments (26)For many years I tried to get Morning Glories to grow up a trellis that my husband put around our LP tank- never did have any luck with them so when my 4 year old (at the time) asked to help plant flowers I gave him a bunch of morning glory seeds to have for the garden- we had morning glories everywhere that year- When I asked him what he did to make them grow he says "nothing- i just stuck 'em in the dirt and left them alone". Now he plants morning glories in that bed every year and has named it his TURTLE GARDEN- he collects turtle figures all the time and even has our friends and family looking for new ones for him- his Granny got him 2 new ones for christmas this past year and he loved it. He is 7 now with over 50 turtles and still planting his "mornin glornies" as he calls them and I hope he keeps this up for many more years....See MoreWhat Did You Say? (Funny)

Comments (7)Hi Lydia - thanks for asking! Things are looking up, as my fever as of this morning was gone for the first time. I sweated buckets during the night, and went through three t-shirts. I still feel very weak and lightheaded, which I guess is to be expected. I just washed some dishes and put some laundry in the washer, but am restraining myself from doing anything further. It's amazing how things go to pot so quickly when you're sick . . . the lawn . . . the weeds . .. . my house! .. . but overdoing would be a mistake. Yes, the opening reception is on Saturday. I was afraid I'd be too sick to attend, but if things keep progressing I think I'll be fine. At the moment, though, I sure don't feel up to making any foods to bring, or even figuring out how much wine I have. I have friends who are standing by to help if necessary, though. Thank heavens for that. We hung the show Thursday and Friday. It was a lot of work (42 pieces!), but it looks great. My house, however, does not. I was still framing up till Friday morning, and the place looks more like a frame shop than a home. I figured I'd clean everything up as soon as the show was hung, but then I got sick. Oh, well, at least there are no plans to come back here after the reception. Anyway, I appreciate your concern, and now I'm going back to bed. :-) Susan...See More- 10 years ago
