You know, I would say lots depends on your zone. I find tomatoes in my garden depend so much on the season and there are some hot summers that varieties that I'm about to give up on really shine- and in a cold summer there are others that really shine. I put together 6 packs for friends (I try to do 8 packs, what's a few more tomatoes?) here in my colder zone and this is what I usually do: 1. Sungold- cherry/ orange. it's a hybrid, but so amazing. 2. Bloody Butcher: early/ small/ red. It's my favorite early. In my garden, it hates hot weather, so I've been tandem planting it with a late variety (usually Kellogg's breakfast) and pulling it. 3. Cherokee purple: 8- 16 oz. 80 days, purple. My favorite tomato, yummy, colorful, easy 4. Mortgage Lifter: 12- 16 oz. 80 days, pink. A great tomato all around, but fantastic for those people who need that red color- it's pink, but in the right color family 5. Japanese Black Triefle: smaller, black, prolific- just a great, yummy tomato. I like to toss one "weird" one in to keep people on their toes and open minded. This has an unusual shape and is a great tomato. 6. Kellogg's Breakfast: 1- 2 lb. orange: This is a late, yummy tomato. I love it because it keeps the garden fresh. When other plants start to wind down or you aren't as excited about another Cherokee purple, here comes KB. I've heard that KBX is a better strain, you can get it from Tatiana's (who is on this forum a lot). I'm trying it this year. Your other post about which tomatoes are best for which thing is hard for me. I just grow tomatoes that I love and do almost everything you listed with them. You can make sauce from any tomato, including cherrys (which make a very sweet sauce). I've also made sandwiches with cherrys, salads with huge tomatoes and so on. My theory is if it tastes good and you have a lot of it, you can do just about anything with it. The only thing I really can't speak for is I haven't dried tomatoes yet. I'm sure I will at some point, so then will have an opinion. Good luck!

What a fun thread. I'd be an old, dusty, bottle of homemade strawberry wine that the label has fallen off of. When you first look at it you're not sure what's inside. But, if you spend some time with me (take the cork out) you'll find something refreshing, a bit fruity and that it has some zest to it. I'm getting more mellow with age. Some people even find that if they spend too much time with me they wake up the next morning with one He!! of a headache. Ron

Nope. Did not take much of a honeymoon trip. We married on a holiday weekend (to get the extra day). Traveled about 100 miles away from the wedding site and stayed our first night together in a small hotel. Used the next day to take a leisurely drive back to our first apartment, and on the third day, set up our living quarters. I had started a new job fresh out of college 3 months prior ot the wedding was was due back on the job the next day following the 3 day weekend. My wife had one more year of college and she was busy registering for classes. We lived on ahoestring that first year. My wife graduated the next year and things began to look up economically. But her first year of work was an internship (required for state certification) that did not pay well. Two years later, we started our family and thankfully by then, my job had begun to pay better - enough to support us and new baby. Since that first year, we have taken a sight-seeing trip almost every year for vacation for the next 30 years. We still take trips, but the focus has broadened because we have seen many of the scenic places that were on our list.

Thanks, everyone. We've already started working on the dining area issue. It was nearly unanimous here that it would be a big issue, as we suspected. Our feedback is very good on the inside of the house- these pictures eliminate the scope I guess and IRL the rooms are actually larger than what you find in many new builds nowadays. All of the bedrooms are 12x14 or 10x14. So not tiny by my standards anyways, although a larger master is certainly desirable. One of the most common negative feedback remarks we've gotten is something we can't do anything about- the location. Although we are on the outskirts of our community, we have a commercial building on the south side of our fence, and our neighbor behind us has a huge ugly shop (that's the big metallic thing). We should have planted a green screen back there when we first bought, but didn't know it would be such a distraction for future buyers. This would be a starter home- it was for us! But nice schools, nice backyard, TONS of storage (basement, standing height attic over garage, oversized brand new garage). Anyway, thank you for lending me your eyes. We are staging a dining set to the right of the couch, but behind where the camera shows. There's a piano there now, which we are going to move out. We're going to borrow a small dining set from some friends just to show the possibilities. Plus, we're going to leave the bistro table in the kitchen which would then show two seating areas for dining. Packed up more stuff already, and hubby's looking for different stand for t.v.
