Oh, about as good as it will ever get. I have arthritis, maybe rheumatoid, indigestion and can't take any meds for it except tums, bad knees, osteo and doc wants me on fosamax and calcium, that will really fix my digestive system. I was put on a statin, stopped that after a few weeks, had pain, the screaming kind. In other words I'm getting old and all in a couple of years. I can no long use my motto, "this to will pass". LOL At least nothing can take away my positive attitude. Takes me a couple of days to adjust, but then I see the positive of what I have left.

Hey, Stargazzer, you sound like me! I can't take statins either. I know the pain from that and didn't know for a very long time why I hurt so dog gone much! Some days are better than others. I try to keep as busy as I can. Keep up your positive outlook. Hope you feel better soon.

I seem to be trying to keep our summer record. This house has not been 100% healthy since the first week of summer break. Someone always has some bug or another, couple times enough to need the doc and a scrip. I woke up yesterday with pink eye. My eyes are so sensitive to light I am avoiding driving and skipped DD's gymnastics practice today. I don't think it's bacterial, no yucky drainage. So nothing to do but take out the contacts and wear my glasses, try to relieve the symptoms until it goes away. I got some OTC eye drops that are really helping. Just little nagging things, but it is taking the fun out of summer break. It hurts to read for very long, which is what is really getting to me!

School starts for us in 12 days! I hope that breaks this streak of bugs and viruses.

I'm at work today ... I had to bring in some paperwork from home, and was halfway here before I checked the folder DH had prepared for me and saw he packed the wrong things. So I had to turn around and go back home and get the right papers. That's a crummy way to start the day!

Some of us at my company are being transferred to another company in a 'partnership' so today I attended a RoadShow prepared by the new company highlighting benefits, corporate culture, etc. It was very informative. Then I had lunch with a friend I haven't seen in awhile, which was nice. Got back to the office and prepared for my mid-year performance review, which went nicely. Boss is happy, which makes me happy.

Tonight DS and I are going to see Harry Potter, I'm looking forward to that! DH is thrilled that he doesn't have to go. Dinner will be movie theater popcorn!

Everything is going good for me today. Got in the office at 7:00am and started in on a couple of presentations and some tradeshow work.

About an hour ago my boss came in with the head of the tradeshow group and I was presented with a cute little red iPod Nano as a thanks for all my help with their graphics.

Now I have no excuse to go work out at the gym ... sigh

Wow, that's early for school to be starting! It must be horrible for the kids living in the south to be back at school in the heat of summer. Are all the schools and portables (if you have them) air-conditioned? Do they get out early then? Or just have a month and a half of summer break.

My day has been busy. I'm off today, and I had a couple of appt's. One of them was for BBL, and it burst some blood vessels on my face- I have four bruises on the left side of my face and a couple of them are a good size.

I went to the funeral home this afternoon for the father of my best friend when I was young. It was good to see the family, but I'm sorry for what they're going through.

My day is going ok,not doing much,as i didn't have a good night last night.My arm & hand was hurting,and would go to sleep,so that kept me awake most of the night.Think i have a little lymphadema in it.I try to sleep with it on a pillow ,raised above my head,which is what they told me to do.

Today i'm just kicking back and think i'll go out on the patio and read my book.Maybe take a nap on the swing!!

Happens to all of us. Sometimes and I don't remember which site it happens in, but if I hit the back button it tells me it will resend the message. So I click on KT Garden in the bookmark bar at the top.

It's been a good day. This morning they measured for our countertops--said it'd be about a week. Very exciting for me, anyway.

Made Glenda's strawberry soup early so it could chill for 8 hours. Then I made a shrimp and rice salad for dinner, too. I just love it--have olives, celery, green onion, shrimp and rice. Dressing is mayo with french dressing. I really like having dinner ready before lunch time!! But Sue, that fried chicken sounds mighty good! We haven't had it for so long.

Have to be up at 3:30 in the morning to be at VA in Gainesville by 6:00. Bummer!! DH has lab work at 6 and a primary care appt. at 8. At least we'll be home by dark.
