Read all the posts about the RxRelief Card but one peice of information was not included in any of them. Yes, I am very new to this forum/website but have this info to pass on. Numerous complaints were from those who thought their identity would be stolen. Ask yourself how much of your personal information did you give out when you joined this venue. oh oh! Now the info I wish to post taken from the BBB information online about the parent Company of RxRelief Card:

The BBB isn't anything to be bragging about. It's a bunch of independent organizations that companies pay to be a part of.

Means nothing in most locations, altho there are a few groups that aren't bad.

My long time independent pharmacy just laughed when I showed them the card that was in Sun. paper & said, yes we take it, we just jack our prices up. It's no deal! This pharmacy is by far the cheapest 1 out in my area as I have been to many of them since my medicine was expensive. They managed to cut it by 2/3 of what I had been paying. They know me well. So the cards are a rip off!

So, first, let me say thank you for the links, the information, and the support. I had my surgery yesterday morning.........and while the hospital is wonderful, the nurses and staff were caring and amazing.......I Never want to go into a hospital again for anything. I may add "No Hospitals" to my Advance Medical Directive card!! It was like a bad case of claustrophobia for me, almost the whole time. And coming out of the anesthesia was miserable. I am the biggest baby, I know. The cold chills freak me out. He did the lateral release, the removal of the torn meniscus, and some cartilage shaving. Next wk, at my post-op appt, he's going to show me pictures! Yikes. I think I will take pictures of my updated kitchen to show him! Both my DD and DH came with me and it did take two people to get me in and out. She works for a doctor and made everything better by talking me through stuff, explaining procedures, etc. I am in an immobilizer today and not much pain. Taking Darvocet and it seems to do the trick. I've been using a walker today to get around and I seem to do ok. Both DH and DD were worried about leaving me home alone, but Mabel and Sawyer are caring for me. With your prodding, I had asked the Doc about pre-surgery phys.therapy. He seemed surprised that I even mentioned it. And he said we will see if I need PT at the appt next week. He specializes in these surgeries and I hope he did a good job, but he has a perpetually surprised/nonplussed look on his face when I ask questions. I am going to be moving this knee as much as I can when I get to take off the immobilizer. And for those of you who have graced the 'foundations' threads, I want you to know that I fixed my hair this morning, did my foundation, eyeliner, shadow and pulse-perfection mascara. Lined my lips and applied a neutral lipstick. Put on a bit of Bijan perfume and started a load of laundry. It's 11:15 am and I am sick of t.v. and the computer. Now what? I am sorry you are going through this - and worry it could be in our future in Canada as well. My sister-in-law works for Canada Post and has just signed new medical contracts that would require her meds to be mailed to her. She is not happy and neither is anyone else. One woman takes the same eyedrops as my husband and they have to be refrigerated until opened. What about during the freezing weather and boy have we had it this year. Then there is the summer warmth - what will that do to prescriptions meds? We hardly have any prescriptions but in the warmer weather I take a cooler bag with me to big up the meds and always go directly home with them. Then we have the thievery issue - and it happens. And of course, delays in the mail. I was surprised that Canada Post which has a very strong union in Canada is doing this. I suspect that Canada Post in an attempt to retain business will be trying to market mail-order drugs to private companies and would look kind of foolish if they did not do it themselves (even for a Crown Corp. - the shareholders being the taxpayer). I hope you get everything sorted out. I know exactly what you mean about getting a different person every time you call and the next person having no record of the previous call.

My DSIL had an abdominal carcinoma and had it successfully treated (he's been in remission for about 7 years now) and his oncologist told him to start smoking marijuana to get his appetite up because he was always too nauseous to eat. He got a medical card and was able to use it, and he still uses it to keep weight on. He works in a Federally funded position but he's been told by his supervisors that they won't drug test him. He's very, very fortunate in that he works for a very compassionate agency. I've found that the CBD oil causes me gastic effects, so I bought some tincture-which is really, really nasty tasting. I mix it in a shot glass size of water and chase it down with a cup of water to rinse the taste, and that helps me a bit better than the oil. And as I mentioned., smoking helps me to sleep. I did learn that there is a difference in the strain of THC, apparently the sativa strain is one that gives the greater ephoric 'high' feeling, and indica strain is more relaxing. So the guy at the dispensary sold me an indica strain with high cbd. It was kind of mind blowing going in to a pot store-the smell is kind of overwhelming-but the staff were very, very knowledgeable and followed very strictly to the rules-always checking my id, even though I'm obviously well over 21! When I bought the pot to smoke I had to get a pipe and it was only $3! The gram of smoke was $3. You could have knocked me over with a feather-I was completely expecting to spend over $60, figuring a pipe would be a minimum of $20. CBD oil is much more expensive, I guess it's due to the manufacturing process. But I really, really wish that the Feds would deregulate it and let States run it on their own. I know of so many people who use it now for pain relief, and even a lot who use it instead of drinking a cocktail. And no, crime HAS NOT risen in our State as a result.

The post was info only and the intent was to give information on the Company that owns RX Relief Card and not reopen a dead topic. RX Relief Card is just one of the Companies owned by: Script Relief LLC and the BBB Report is on this Company and none other. A complete different topic for information. Sorry if you misinterpreted the Post.
My mistake by not wording it different although it should draw attention to check out the owning Company and not just the product because of the amount of Posts it generates as is evident by so many different people. This is what caused the hum ha about the Rx Relief Card. Great with some, mediocre with some and completely negative with others.

Hope this clarify's the intent of the Post,
