Ghost Town is a keeper! I told my husband I want to buy that one. And yeah, Lydia my husband even said he thought they were about to start preaching any second now. That's not the bad part though. The acting and script were horrible. And it seemed more like a public service announcement with a bunch of really cheesey lines.

I think Gran Torino got bad reviews also, but I loved it. What was funny/strange, though, was the fact that after the movie was over, no one moved...everyone stayed seated while Clint Eastwood sang that song...and he's no singer. I know someone else who went at another time, and he is the one who brought up the fact that no one made a move to leave after the movie was over...usually people get up and try to be the first ones out the door :o)

I use imdb, but sometimes critic reviews are so numerous and I don't know any of them! And I have trouble remember the critics' names from one time to the next. But I can remember Rotten Tomatoes lol! (Btw, I don't always agree with Ebert, and sometimes it's more of a rehash than critique, but he sure could write.)
