My baby turns 1 today! (pic)

Dan turns 1 today. It's been a long, long year but worth every lost moment of sleep. He's the opposite of his older brother (except for the not sleeping thing) - he loves to play with his toys, he's a climber and he's into everything. When he gets mad he throws himself on the ground (I think he will make up for Nick never having had a true tantrum). He's obsessed with Elmo's World and loves music. He's walking really well and babbles a lot but he hasn't really said anything that makes sense yet.

I remember with Nick, the first year was looonnnggg but then time really started to fly.

Awww he looks like a total doll!
My 2 DGS's are different as night and day. One is careful and cautious and like Nick even tempered. The other is careless and a daredevil and has thrown fits since he was a little guy! LOL When Drew is mad the entire house knows it!

I am so happy to see your pictures again! I was here back then, but mostly lurking, which I still do a lot because I am not very good about id-ing my plants since the dogs destroyed my labels and I gave up There are a few I know the names of, but not too many. Thank you very much for the advice .I do know that they are not pot plants but when i bought them they had already huge green shoots and it was too cold in the garden to leave them out .I live in United Kingdom Manchester which happen to be one of the most cold and wet areas of England .And it does rain a lot that is why i have to take out them if there is sun and get them in if it rains .Otherwise they will be flooded in a pod for sure .And yes i must admit i am very new to use fertilizer so i do not have yet clue which one for what aims is the best .Still learning tho i will try to save what i can and next year i will know what to do .Meanwhile my red lilium are outside i planted them yesterday unfortunately after that it started to rain and no sun so i do worry for them as well :(Weather here is not like in my country we have very cold winter and very warm spring and summer which is perfect for them .Here it can rain weeks and weeks . Just to add any kind of advices are welcome i spend ours to read the forums here and i do love them i learned a lot things for many of my plants .So i will able to care better for them .

Love hearing stories like this. My 28 year old nephew was born 3 months early and weighed in at a whopping 1 lb. 12 oz. My brother's wedding ring fit all the way up the baby's leg. My nephew was/is very fortunate that he had/has no health or learning issues related to his prematurity. He recently became a father but the little knit cap of his that his mom saved all these years didn't begin to fit on his own full term baby's head. Best wishes to your daughter for the next 21 years and more.

Awe, look how cute he is. He looks like a little man. He's adorable.

I know what it's like having a child that's into everything and does have tantrums...I feel for you. But like you said, worth it.

Hee, hee! He's so cute! My gosh, a year... Happy birthday, buddy! I was just telling a friend of mine with a newborn how long that first year was with both kids. After that, time sped up doubletime. :)

Oh don't those tantrum get you? They do me. It's my 3 1/2 yr old DGS, who I've been watching for a couple weeks while mom works 4-12 PM. Hard to find Nightcare like Daycare. Usually it's when I've corrected him.
