I love what has been shown here as suggestions. I can't wait to see what you do. (And I'm following red neck chic now. Cool blog.) If you decoupage it may not last outside (even on a covered porch)UNLESS you use lazertran transfer paper to make decals and then apply them with oil based varnish. I've just learned more about this technique and will report more when I've experimented. Just wanted to mention it since decoupage was brought up as a possibility. Kathy

Worth? To whom? FOr Insurance purposes or are you looking to sell? If you look on eBay, antique china goes for pennies on the dollar... Seriously - Pennies. In an antique shop, the prices are Much, Much Higher, but then I don't know who pays them and who gets how much of the sale price -- ie consignment.

I did see a news clip about the stow-away Gracie Mae. Amazing story. Sophie did have to go in and get even more fluids over the weekend, but she is doing much better now. She started eating again Monday and hasn't stopped yet. Sophie seems so content now. We didn't get Gracie until Sunday evening. Gracie was with another family before us, but due to the massive flooding in our area, they could not keep her. I felt so sorry for them. A couple more pictures, if you can stand them. LOL Socks..I hadn't noticed that, but you're right! She still tries to nurse..but she's got a mouthful of teeth, so Abby isn't too fond on it! My son bought a bag of Science Puppy food for her..and I'm also feeding her Cesar puppy food. She managed to root CeCe away from his breakfast the other morning and I've never heard such smacking..she even tried to eat the edge of the saucer! Why is it dogs seem to like cat food better than their own food? lol

Thanks for sharing! She looks so sweet! How's the housebreaking coming? I had a puppy that took a year to train , but she was a fantastic loyal dog.
