Sorry to hear that Joe. As you may recall, I've been down this path; they put the money back after I signed affidavits on each separate charge. Hopefully, your bank will be more accomodating. Two asides. The other day I went to logon to a financial site and Norton caught it. I blocked the site as I was instructed by Norton. Later on, I couldn't see many photos here. I realized the fake site I had blocked was using photobucket to serve the gifs and it had been blocked as well. I like Norton!!! Otherwise, I stopped for a cup of decaf the other day and the barista took my card and then--in a stunning act that left me staring at her--took my card and proceeded to "scratch her back"--back and forth-- with my card--inside her very loosely fitting oversized sweater. I didn't say a word to her (too dumbfounded.) A couple of days later while driving down the freeway it occurred to me, as things tend to do, what she had done. Good grief! I just googled "Paul Barden" and discovered that my earlier posts had somehow alerted a Major Rosarian and Hybridizer. And motorcyclist. And photographer. And blogger. So now I don't know WHAT my rose is. The leaves are definitely glossy, but I can't recall exactly their degree of shinyness at first springtime bloom. All I know is, almost no fragrance, blooms are 3" across maximum, and until they flatten out at full open phase, the middle part has that tight separate set of petals in a rather formal geometric five-form, so very full that they look like the flowers we used to make out of colored tissue paper folded back on itself. . Aaagh! If only I could post a photo! But I tried and the photo website rejected me. But as I wrote before, the photos of SDLM on the Paul Barden website look exactly like it. Exactly. The descriptions of "Awakening" match the mild-to-no fragrance and the glossy leaves, but the pictures don't look like it. This is the end of the season here in New England, but I will try to learn how to post photos by next June, and take some pictures then. Thanks for trying to help, everyone. Carol

Although it's annoying, this really isn't what's called identity theft. I know people who were victim of true identity theft, where someone actually assumed the person's identity, not just made a one-time use of a card or something, and the results are usually devastating to the person. You can't buy anything with a credit card, you can't get/keep a checking account, bank accounts can be frozen, retirement funds can be affected, your job is often impacted and you even risk losing it, your driver license is affected, insurance of all types and way more happens with an identity theft. That's some bad stuff. I've had fraudulent use of my credit card attempted before. And I applaud the cc company for being on top of it. Sad part is with the way things are now, we don't completely control our private data. Banks, employers, stores, health people, pharmacies, hospitals, insurance companies and many others are in possession of the data and we see on the news seemingly weekly where someone is broken into and robbed of sensitive data on millions of people.
