Allisande thank you for your suggestion. I am so happy to finally be a grandma.

Mia is doing great. She had her two week check=up today. She not only has gained back all her post birth weight loss but added a few ounces. She also grew a half inch. Not surprising. She is a little piglet and latches on like a little pirahna. LOL

DD says she loves her pediatrician. This was the first time she met him. He is 150% behind her parenting style. Even advised her not to use vitamin drops which they tried to push on her at the hospital. She didn't go into detail but sau id he showed her the statistics on how few breast fed babies really needed supplements. Suggested she let Mia have a little sunlight and fresh air each day and call it good. I love this guy too. Wish mine pedi had been like him.

I saw her a few days ago and shes a solid little dumpling.

We're trying go give mom and dad and baby their alone time. Other grandma doesn't always understand completely but DD is holding firm and her DH stands up for her. Their parenting style is pretty much attachment parents. Mia spends most of her day at mommy's breast, in daddy's arms or in their king sized bed with them.

Now for a few pictures. I don't have many and have asked for more. DD and I just had a good laugh over the phone about it. Mia sleeps and eats. She is not a fashion doll. She wears diapers and t shirts. They do put her in little rompers to go out sometimes. She is just about growing out of her zero to 3 months size. Never did wear newborn.
