Grilled cheese and bacon sandwich here. No storms here, but days of non stop rain.

I had some of my chicken vegetable soup that was in the refrigerator. Also ate a hard cooked egg, and had half a glass of milk.

I'll bet you were thrilled to not only have the bean soup but also the cornbread. Sometimes it just doesn't take much to please us.

I decided not to play golf today after torrential rains yesterday and 7" on Friday. Don't really enjoy playing in muddy conditions so I just puttered around today. Had a meeting after golf to finalize our plans on the next upcoming major tournament starting next week. After the meeting a friend and I joined the ladies eating lunch upstairs because it was a friends birthday. I wasn't really hungry but one of the gals couldn't eat but half her sandwich and didn't want to take the other half home so I enjoyed a soft-shell crab sandwich. It was really very good and more than enough to carry me through. We're just going to have a light salad tonight.

Not much dinner tonight. Hubby had junk food & I had a bowl of cereal.
I can't believe how much damage we got from last evenings storm. We had to work but when we got home we started to clean the yard, almost finished with that, but tomorrow we have lots of trees down that we have to cut up & the fence to fix. Not sure just how much damage there is till we drive down there & look around.

Pam, I like rain without the lightning/thunder, but not days and days of it. Need to see the sun shine. I just love that picture you posted of you and your sisters. I have a ton very similar--like taken on Easter morning.

Shirley, your dinner sounds nice and warming. Turns out the bean soup was potato chowder, which pleased Harry no end. My permanent marker had dried up and before I could get a new one I sealed some things that now have maybe a half a word left :-)

Susan, I've never had a fish taco. They sure look good in magazines, though. Enjoy!

Georgysmom, I don't blame you for not wanting to slog around the golf course. Ick! Very kind of your friend to share, especially a soft shell crab sandwich. Yum!

Mary, did the storm ruin your barbed wire fence? I know you were hoping it was okay. I hear you about condo living. There's a lot to be said for no yard work.

We went out and had tacos and taco salads. DD, her SO and DGS went to!

Hope the storm damage isn't too bad.

French Dip sandwiches with onions and asparagus on the side. We've had quite delightful weather the last few days--I'm sorry for those dealing with lousy weather.

Panko breaded cod from Costco, boiled potatoes, fresh broccoli and carrots.
I made cocktail sauce for Mr. Wonderful and I made spicy tartar sauce for me.
Yummmmmmmm.

We stopped at the Village Cafe after my doctor appointment for our "pre-anniversary" dinner. (Tomorrow June 12th is our 43rd anniversary.) We had the Georgia Salad which is many different greens, hard boiled eggs, little tomatoes, croutons, hot bacon dripping topping, and grilled salmon, plus delcious rolls with garlic flavored butter. It was all sooooo good.
