Smoked Turkey Breast, Melted Brie & Swiss Cheese, Spinach, Mushrooms, Tomato, Grilled Golden Brown with a Side of Fresh Dill Horseradish Sauce

Had mine on a wheat tortilla, and everything is fresh and yummy!

I have some chicken breasts cooking in the crockpot with BBQ sauce. Then I'll fork-pull it. This is just the 2nd time I've made it; the first time, had it on buns. This time will make some Pepperidge Farm stuffing and a salad or corn (should've picked up some corn on the cob, but canned will do).

(Speaking of corn, there are 2 Ina Garten corn recipes that I love -- if you like corn, you should try them. One is corn cut from the cob after it's cooked and sauteed in unsalted butter with kosher salt and pepper; the other is a cold corn salad, also with the corn cut from the cob, and mixed with a little minced or diced red onion, a little cider vinegar, kosher salt, pepper, olive oil and fresh basil. Both are delish! And so simple that they remind me of the first time I tasted vegetables tossed in olive oil with salt and pepper and then roasted -- such a simple thing, but an amazing rich taste!)

Just made a big batch of pasta sauce, most will go in the freezer. Tonight will be spag & meat balls with a gorgonzola salad. For dessert I made a espresso cho. chip angel food cake served with van. ice cream

Wow! All your dinners sound wonderful! We are having flat steak, grilled portabello mushroom with bleu cheese (hubby standing in the rain as I type!) and a tomato/avocado salad.

PammyFay, that's how I like corn too....sauteed. Frozen works wonderfully.

I bought a big pork loin that was a steal at $1/lb. Usually they are on sale for $1.88. They're the ones in the cryovac bag.
I cut it into chops and a roast.

I made baked chops in rice and beef broth. While the oven was on, I made 1/2 dozen bran muffins out of the last of the buttermilk. I'm trying very hard not to "bake an orphan" but I always forget. Tonite, I didn't.

Pam is so right. Everything sounds wonderful and Pam, there is nothing better than a steak with grilled portabellos--except maybe the addition of blue cheese. What a great dinner. I love corn scraped off the cob--Harry makes it only he barely scrapes uncooked corn and then takes a spoon and scrapes again to get all the "milk" off. Adds a little cream, some butter, S&P. He calls it fried corn. Whatever, it sure is good.

Mary, what a meal. Have you made the cake before? It sounds like a little slice of heaven.

Grilling a bunch of things. I plan to share some, and I'll still not need to cook for the rest of the week...chicken breast, turkey tenderloin, pork tenderloin, tofu, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, Thai eggplant, squash and onion.

Well our supper was kinda sad after reading all that y'all had. We had leftover pasta with shrimp in a lemon cream sauce, and toasted sourdough bread. A glass of wine for me and iced tea for Bob. I still had 2 wonderful chocolate cookies from our trip to Charleston so that was dessert with vanilla bean ice cream.

After all that potting and planting we were so tired we went with pizza. An excellent choice.

We went to Partner's Pizza. Yummmm. Brought enough home for another meal.
