Cream cheese, sliced pimento stuffed olive, and pecan half filling in a sandwich or on a bagel. Line up the olive halves with the pecans alternating. Yummy.

liverwurst with miricle whip on seven grain bread.
Kinda mushy, tangy, the bread has a little crunch.
I don't crave it very often but I like it when I do.

My other naughty cravings are Cotto Salami and I love the Local Homemade Summer Sausage (lots of Garlic.) I love Vienna Sausage too with cheese and crackers and pickled okra.

Deviled ham sandwich! Now that's been a long long time since I had one of those.

Just spread it on bread with mayo and mustard, nothing else.

Okay, are you ready for this? I love Veal kidney (or lamb)sandwichies made with breaded and fried veal kidneys, sliced thin with sauteed onions and peppers on a hot fresh kaiser roll. Served up with a large Claussen dill pickle and a handfull of chips. As Glenda would say, "Yumster"!!

Only one or two times a year, but I love them when I have them.

Potted meat with mayo and pickle. I haven't had one in a very long time, might try one tonight with a thick slick of a fresh sliced tomato on it.

arosegirl: I hadn't had a potted meat OR vienna sausage sandwich in about 5 years. I gave in and had both a few wks ago. I think I can wait another 5 yrs.

OMG Helen That sounds so good. I grew up eating kidney. Remember when veal chops used to have a bit of kidney attached?

Another craving I get once or twice a year is for liver pate' on toasted rye or fresh crusty French bread. I just bought a small can of it the other day. I prefer it home made though made with calves liver onions and butter.

I like beef bologna served open faced on buttered rye bread.

I quit eating potted meat and vienna sausage, when my dad, the grocery store owner, told me to read the ingredients on lablels.

Won't stop me from eating bologna though!

About every other year I buy a can of those yucky canned tamales with all that orange grease on top.
And I like fried hominy in bacon grease but haven't any for years.

Bologna w/mustard and potato chips. I think it was a grade school thing. Guess I haven't had the chips and bologna in the house at the same time for a long while.

Pimento cheese spread on white. I got turned onto this when I lived in Texas. They don't sell it in the stores in Mn often, sometimes I run across it.

Trin, one of my favs is simular to yours...peanutbutter, Miracle Whip, and a slice of crisp lettuce on white or wheat bread.

hmm this was a tough one. i love fried bologna sanwiches toasted slathered wiyh mayo and butter, and yes i love spam but not cooked, what i crave the most is corned beef and cabbage and carrots and potatoes lol, as a kid i hated it in the last couple of years its kinda the only meat i ever want anymore..must be because im getting up in the years and my tastes are changing ..at least thats what my mom tells me..but its so darned expesive here!
