Nothing exciting but I think I can change that by coming over and having sandwiches with you. LOL I spoiled that by going to Chilli's and having chicken fajitas. It was very good and I had lovely eye candy as a bonus. If there is anything that makes me want to be younger it's those 20 something guys. They were so polite and so drop dead gorgeous. Umm, guess I did have some excitement today.

Not as much as you!!! Going out to lunch with a friend in a few minutes. Quiet day otherwise. Trying to match up yarns in my stash to knit up into scarves and hats and wrist warmers for the Larkin Street Project in San Francisco. They help homeless, troubled young people.

Sucks and I can't wait to get out of here.

Bank just emailed me that Time Warner took their payment 3 days early, which overdrafted me and will result in 105.00 in fees by Tues when I get paid. (35.00 a day x 3 days)

Sue-I'm exhausted just reading your post! LOL I have done absolutely nothing.In fact it's almost 4 and I'm still in my night gown!LOL I did make coffee and toast about 9:30.Been on the computer all afternoon and just got off the phone with the cable tech getting my cable box going again.It's been out of whack for a week and I could only get basic channels.It's fixed now after 30 minutes on the phone with the cable company.Need to go figure out what we are having for supper.

Sue, I remember your post asking for pork salad sandwiches, but I didn't see the replies. I'll have to go back and try to find it. Man, you really burn up the road! I'm such a home body I'd rather be at home than almost anyplace--especially in this heat. Supposed to be 94 degrees every day this week.

There's only so much that needs to be done every day so today I made porcupines for dinner with mashed potatoes, green beans and pina colada salad. Haven't had porcupines in a while and had rice already cooked and onion already chopped so it was easy.

Lilliepad, I had to LOL--I have days like that, too. Ain't it nice?

Went to the zoo today with my good friend, her daughter and grandkids. Now I'm pooped!

Got up early and went to a few garage sales with a friend. It wasn't really a great day for finding things that we wanted, but we still had a good time.

Took some chairs to the flea market booth this afternoon and totally rearranged everything in it.

Have been home awhile and watching the weather reports. Arkansas has had some high winds and a few rotating "thingies" this afternoon. Nothing serious here, so far.

I am back from Muncie. She only bought two butterfly koi. I didn't go in, I just sat in the SUV with the dogs. I sent a bunch of the "pork salad" and some of the barbecue home with Amber. I did freeze a shortening container of the barbecue, kept a bit out for us. I am finished for today. I just made my pork salad like plain chicken salad, cooked chopped up pork loin, some onion, celery, sweet pickles, hard boiled eggs, Miracle Whip and a bit of sugar to taste. I used my food processor to chop up stuff. Makes it so much easier than trying to do it by hand. Izzi is tired out. She had a busy day, keeping an eye on the other two dogs :) If the girls ask me to go, I will go with them. I can stay home when I get old! Ha, ha.

I've been down all day because I just heard yesterday that a dear old friend had died. And then that another dear old friend (I have known both of these women for DECADES) may lose a foot to an infection which was not properly monitored by her physician.

And it's been raining every day (late afternoon fierce thunderstorms) so garden is too muddy to get into and the weeds are flourishing. No rain yet today, but the sky is threatening and the day isn't over.

I have spent way too much time on the computer, but the laundry is done and put away, and supper is done and the mess cleaned up. I want to go and walk the yard, but the mosquitoes are fierce!

I am in a holding pattern here.

I spent the better part of the day sitting on the patio transplanting a bunch of plants,to new pots with new soil.They got extremely neglected this past year with my surgeries,recoveries and what not.Still have some more to do,maybe tomorrow.

I was dog tired when i came in and had to take a break and rest before i even got in the showe.Thankfully DH still is doing the cooking.
