Luvs, yes summer is going fast. Thank Heavens in my case. I am probably the only one on here who dislikes summer and can't wait for it to end. But when temps hit 100 by May and don't stop till late Oct, maybe y'all can understand. We get VERY little rain here, and over 300 days of sunshine. Phoenix has TWO seasons, hot and nice. I am longing for the nice, LOL. I never wear a coat, tho have a couple of light-weight jackets just in case. And my favorite days are GREY ones, which we get darn few of. I love clouds! I just added another 7 photos to the Fall album. Forgive me but put my own stacked plates from last year. Then there are 3 tablesettings along with 3 other new ideas. hugs, Karen

no, I'm not interested in the classes, either. I just want to see what's available for the bits and pieces of glass, so I can piece together a GOG.... I have a number of windows that I've been guarding for a greenhouse and I think the time has come that I can safely say that it isn't going to happen. but the plants that I have, have wintered over for the past number of years, without croaking, so I guess I don't need the greenhouse as much as I need to mosaic..lol I have mostly hearty plants..hosta, geraniums, tree babies, grasses, lung wort, daylilies and others that don't seem to need protection. the windows are from sales and they just look like they want attention..lol I have glass cutters and have watched a number of the 'crafters coast to coast' and others on HGTV, so it's not completely foreign to me. and seeing all that's been posted here...I just gotta do it! I finally made a work area in the front room this weekend. I'd been putting it off and going bonkers, wanting to work on a vase. oh, and by the way...I got lots of circuit boards and old dead hard drives from a computer store and after all of that...I decided it would look just too junkie/techie for my liking. so now I have all the junk and don't want to glue it all on the monitor after all...lol I could decoupage it with crazy fabrics....that's much softer and less prickly...those danged boards kept sticking me, while I loaded them in the car! or really, I think I'll get a flat screen monitor and just give the boat anchor to someone else...I got it on freecycle, so it could go back there.. anyway...now that the little table is set up, I will be able to stack some milk crates up, to hold a lot of what is in boxes.... I've been working on a vase today and have it almost half cemented...it's a curved design, like the frying pan...no moss though..lol gotta get the momentum up for the vases... thanks for the encouragement..it makes my days much brighter. LOL Marilyn. Glenda, if they're enjoying the peanuts, they can toss on the living room carpet and even grind them in and I won't care ... we're getting new carpet next week. :-) I wonder if we have Moon Pies here is So Cal. I'll have to check around. Don't need them for the meeting though as I'm set with desserts. I ordered a Cherry pie, Pecan pie and of course (you'll understand why if read the book) ... a Chocolate cream pie from Marie Callendars. I took tomorrow off to get ready for the meeting. I will attempt to make cheese straws. I'm disappointed that I couldn't make them a day or two early so they could set but 10pm is the earliest I've left the office since Sunday. ugh. If that doesn't work out, I'll be making cute little cucumber and pimento sandwiches. No time or energy to do much more. Jodi-
