Good luck. Sounds like you have difficulties with it in general. I can never a good crop of summer-squash of any type in the florida garden either. Always gets some kin of mildew or blight. Here in new england around this time it becomes a struggle to keep eating it. Got three monster zukes lurking in the kitchen right now......

That's great to hear! We always yell out something to them, along the lines of have a nice life. Or we imagine what they are saying - "woo hoo!! I'm flying!! this is great!! I can see everything!!" And we always think of Miller, if anyone has children you should go to the bookstore or library and get Miller the Green Caterpillar (dreamed that one day he would fly)... If you already have it you know what I mean.

Cameron, I think I only saw one swallowtail this summer :o(. I don't know what's going on there use to be lots of butterflies around here during the summer. We're almost sitting on top of a four lane highway I'm wondering if it's too many pollutants in the air since they widened the road. How exciting to watch the whole process, lucky you. I've planted fennel and a few other things that might attract more butterflies to my garden hopefully nex year I'll see a few more. Annette
