When you order a lottery ticket - be careful!

A guy(?) in Newfoundland-Labrador ordered a lottery ticket.

Clerk punched in order - for $27.00 ticket.

(He?)'d ordered a $10.00 ticket.

Clerk voided the ticket s/he'd printed.

It was winner of Big Bucks!!

But - that prize wasn't given!

Wouldn't you be sadder if you were the purchaser of one of the other tickets in that lottery draw?

But then - you weren't going to have won, anyway!

The rep. of the lottery company said that she was sad, that that money could have been a big help to the person ... who might have been a winner.

But then - I guess that she wasn't too sad ...

... as the pot stayed in the lottery corporation's coffers!

Maybe she'd get a bonus at year end?

Oh, no - she doesn't work at one of those funny-bunny New York banks, bundling funny-bunny mortgages.

ole joyful

P.S. In Canada, that prize would have been tax-free.

o j, o.k.
