I hope everyone is having a good morning. I am puppy sitting at Amber's. She and I went to the town wide rummages and she wanted to go to the farmer's market. Her neighbor girl wanted to go too, so I said I would puppy sit. We had fun this morning. I got a really nice big cookbook, a

WWKI radio station one. A few other books, a set of 3 very old puzzles in their box all put together, Taste of Home magazines, and some flower pots. How is your day going?

Good morning, Sue. Sounds like you made out well at the sales. Wish it was cool enough to get out and do something, but it is another scorcher down here. I put a pork roast I got at Sam's in the crock pot. It came already marinaded in a applewood smoked bacon sauce with bacon bits and a tomato-type sauce. Smells really good. We'll have some red bliss potatoes diced, sauted in butter and topped with grated, melted Havarti cheese and lima beans.

I haven't accomplished much. I need to clean the frig this afternoon. It's a mess!

I've never seen bedbugs except for the pictures on the web. Kath, I hope you had no hitchhikers. You certainly took plenty of precautions, I bet you'll be fine. One of the conference rooms at work had been infested with them. The managers wisely selected a different room for meetings for about a month. The exterminators were in on the day they were first seen. Speaking of bugs, today, I am finishing up debugging the tropicals that spend summer outside in prep for bringing them in for winter. We are supposed to get into the thirties Friday and Saturday evening. I used to always use a systemic, but this year I am trying something that I saw on Facebook. I am submerging the pots and as much foliage as possible in soapy water for half an hour. I am wiping all parts that cannot be submerged with the same soapy water, then rinsing when I pull them out. In theory, this is a great idea, but I have been using more and more lightweight foam pots to save my back. Foam pots float :-) I've been settling for allowing them to float sort of sideways and rotating the pot so all areas are submerged at some point for 30 minutes. We'll see if this helps with fungus gnats. I only have the 4 biggest left to do today, I got 8 smaller pots yesterday.

I had egg salad for my breakfast too. j Just a half sandwich. I was in a rush to get out the door to go ride. Passed the 90 mile mark in the virtual race today today! 10 more left. So proud of my school horse. We're sad it's coming to an end.

Update on the day: The living room is so clean. The floor looks fantastic, the furniture is polished, fabrics are washed, cords are corralled. I’m even up to date on the Murdaugh trial, having listened to the Netflix doc at the same time. The poor kitty ventured out once the vacuuming stopped. I haven’t done much in there ever since DH moved his office home…noise, bustle, commentary, meals, etc. But now it looks so good, the dining room next door to it wants a spa day, too! For now, I’m going to collapse in a clean chair with a glass of wine and watch something entertaining.

Raining here in NJ again!! It's been rain so far this month. Its a good day to clean house of just watch movies

It's raining in Amarillo and cool..better enjoy it now cause it's going to be dry and in the high 90's all next week.

All I've done is wash dishes and love on my sweet cat.

For the first time in weeks, I didn't rent any movies to watch this weekend. Feeling too lazy to dress and go to the video store. YAWN!

Good afternoon from SW. Pa...I haven't accomplished too much so far today, have lots of things on the list but.....It's a sunny, then rainy, they back to sun etc., day....I have gotten the sheets changed and all the laundry done, but I couldn't hang outside, darn....

DH is still cleaning up the yard from our storm the other night...We still have mud every where but we're getting back to normal...Some of our neighbors have lost everything so we're very lucky....

After a bite of lunch I'm going to do some dusting and run the vacuum and call it a day....

I just want to sit on the patio with my book.....

I am getting a bit crabby. It is about 97 degrees and my office is just getting warmer and warmer. No air here. Too hot to play with the roses. Just finished my fruit cup lunch and looking forward to my weekend!

I played with the greenhouse plants and the compost for a bit. Then I made a cake for my neighbor's daughter. Next I will go outside to weed the front garden. I hate that garden, so it gets neglected. I actually paid to have someone design and landscape it and I don't think it looks very good. So I ignore it, but it needs some TLC today.

Then I'm going to make a shephard's pie for the freezer for next week, and a cherry pie for Father's Day tomorrow. Tonight I have to pick some stupid rocks out of our garden, if it doesn't rain.

raining here like crazy, so sick of rain! other than that i went for a ride to sunoco today, i was getting cabin/camper fever lol. my best friend whom i havent seen in weeks popped over. him and his gf are putting in a new trailer so theyve been busy moving and setting it up. first time ive been anywhere in over a week. other than that the heats on and im getting in my jammies lol and its 2:39 ny time. just a blah day
