Will an 18 x 21 undermount sink fit into 24' cabinet?

I can't find the right search terms to see if someone else has posted this (common?) problem. I have 24" deep base cabinets, which I assume is standard since the DW fits it. I'm having an engineered quartz countertop put in with an undermount sink, faucet holes drilled into countertop.

If a sink's inside width (front to back of counter) is given as 18", and the cabinet itself is 24" (front to back) I'm wondering if that would provide enough space behind it to fit it faucets. That leaves about 6", and the faucet holes would have to be at least...2"?

Any help here? Thanks! Great forum; I've been scooping up ideas like mad.
