Ceiling molding with cabinet crown?

We are planning to install 42" cabinets to the 8' ceiling with just a small matching molding to finish it off and cover any gaps. We are using mocha maple cabinets, a medium brown color with a glaze. My question is, what should we do to finish the wall/ceiling join where there aren't any cabinets? The rest of the house and kitchen has white crown and window molding, so I can't quite see running the maple molding around the top of the kitchen, but if we do white, won't it look funny where it butts up against the cabinets and the maple molding? There's a big stretch of wall above the French doors and the wall adjoining the dining room, so I feel like we need some sort of molding there, but what? Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions? Thanks,

Sarah
