Rust spots appear on stainless sinks after renovation. It happens.

Tempered glass implodes. It happens.

All this is normal. And more.

Some people feel comfortable expressing their thoughts.

And they post immediately.

They write

this MUST Be a defect;

this is terrible;

contact authorities about action;

you name it they encourage it.

the attitude they show is like this: "the sky is falling"

After all is said and done it turns out that there is nothing big or wrong. I hope people can refrain from jumping on the bandwagon, and instead post to query or to provide some context about the situation. You can be supportive too.

Far far in the future there may be a filter applied to the first few comments posted. It would prevent commiserating or indulgent emotions, in the initial responses. Things need to be refined before we all post "awww this is bad and it is the fault of the manufacturer."

Here is a link that might be useful: example: a thread where someone posts how it MUST be a defect
