Oh, Spincrazy I am happy to hear Adex does have a 2x6. Do you know if they have it in non crackle? Is your crackle subtle? Any pictures? And where did you find it and how much? I read in Blakey's post that the Sonoma was around $25 sf, a little pricey for me. So the Adex would be a good solution. I assume that Ann Sachs is pricey too, but I'll look! Scoutcat- thanks for the info, I'll check them out. They also sell Sonoma tile so I can look at that. Keep those suggestions coming! Thanks again.

Since our kitchen is black & white, we went with white. Our cabinets are BM Gardenia, a warmer white than yours. Here's a shot or two. You need to figure out how much white you want in your new kitchen. Dove White is pretty bright, as is white subway tile. While I'd be good with that, some may find it too bright. You may be best served by picking up a dozen of each color tile and making a mock-up.

The whites are funny, in that they are always whiter than you think from the chip. If you want a brighter white look, go with the White Dove. Some beautiful bright white kitchens to check out are rmkitchen, redroze (BM Chantilly Lace as paint). If you are looking for a softer look, take a look at these kitchens: SW Creamy (sprice5105 just posted today) or BM Linen White (dlspellman just posted), SW Almond white (Jen4268 kitchen), BM Lancaster Whitewash (mamadadapaige has her cabinets this color). thinktoomuch--I don't know if this is perfect however my cabinets are white dove and I used TAGINA Siena White crackled subway tiles. I know they have a bone color too which is creamier. Good luck. I found tile on of the hardest things about a renovation. Paddytc (Gount was standard white and definately millowed since pics were taken.) Pictures were right after grouting and I almost had a heartattack...but now blends awesome.
