I'm using the Moen Level faucet. It is nstalled at the center of my sink and reaches the offset drain just fine. I realize this faucet is totally different from your desired faucet but I just posted to show you that a faucet with a different shape can reach the drain just fine. That platform looks awfully close to the top of the cabinet for an apron sink to fit. They are like 10" deep outside. So the platform would be that far down from the top edge of the cabinet box. In the pic, it does not look like 10" It appears that they just made the platform the same level as the cabinet cutout; the fact is that the cutout is cut by the installer to match the size and shape of the sink. Generally, it's best practise to mount the sink on rails at both ends rather than a flat solid platform. The platform now must be cut to admit the flange, disposal, etc, and cutting a sheet of oriented strand board only weakens it. It's not best practice, more like a "practice run". Casey

My Shaws sink is 10 years old. I had the white grid for about 8 years. Some of the white material starting coming off and it starting rusting in those spots. It did show discoloration. I used bleach about once a month (very dilute) in the sink and that cleaned it up pretty well. I just recently felt it was time to replace the grid and got a new SS one from Amazon. I thought the SS would solve all of the problems. It still gets "gunky" at the intersections. A blackish gunk. So it has to be cleaned frequently as well. The alternative is no grid which is not a good alternative. I didn't have a grid for the first couple years and the bottom of the sink got a few chips. White looks better imho. As far as wear and care...its six of one and half dozen of another.
