I bought this oven and it was installed about 3 weeks ago. It is so nice! I haven't used the bottom oven yet. The top oven heats up in about 6 min., much quicker than heating the full size of a single wall oven. I like that the doors aren't as tall as a full oven door so they don't stick out as much when open. Consumers report gave this oven the highest rating for capacity. The only drawback I have notices is that is unless the rack in the top oven is on the lowest position, you can't see into the pan to visually check the food. But I usually just go by the bake time and it's not really a problem. The oven had a better price on line and local appliance stores (here) don't match internet prices. But there was a weekend sale at local appliance store (but they wanted $85 to deliver). Another local appliance store matched the price and did free delivery. For $135 they delivered, installed and removed the old oven and packing materials. I'm really happy with this oven!

withoutanh... If the date of your first service call to complain was within warranty, they have to continue to work on that issue until resolved, even past that warranty period. It's their fault the problem continued because their attempts and explanations did not resolve the problem. I think you should ask to speak to a supervisor at the store, and at GE customer service. Report the problem to the Better Business Bureau and renew your comments that it was defective upon delivery and their failure to cure the problem when reported is the only reason the problem continues to be reported after the warranty. So many companies try to shirk their legal responsibilities with this type of behavior and you shouldn't give up as they hope you do. Posting seems the only way to get satisfaction but that shouldn't be the only option. Try, try again! You are making me reconsider a choice of GE appliances, so thanks for posting.

We have Thermador 27" double convection ovens. I would have preferred 30" ovens, but we didn't have enough room. I love the ovens. The controls are easy to understand and use, it bakes well, and I like the glide-out rack. Thermador posted the wrong specs on their web site, so we had a little installation issue. That was fixed by the installer.
