Pleae help pick granite

Hi there!

Help! I need some advice for granite. Here are details on the materials we have already chosen:

*lightly stained maple shaker recessed panel cabinets around the perimeter

*salem maple stained cherry shaker recessed panel for island, pantry, ref cabinet and crown molding

*Kahrs Charleston cherry wood floors

*black Blanco granite composite prep sink and main sink

When I ordered the sinks, we were sure we wanted a dark granite. Now I'm not so sure. I am sure we do not want AB honed or ubatuba. Whatever we choose needs to look okay with the charcoal gray/black sinks.

Here's a list of some granites I am considering that are within our budget):

ikon brown (unless it is so uniform that every speck of dust will show; does anyone know if this is the same as tabacco brown?)

seaweed green (unless it looks too much like mossy swamp)

black pearl (too dark with maple cabinets?)

paradiso classico (if more brown than purple)

vyara gold

vyara

madura gold

tropical gem

golden rock

juparana exotica

silver galaxy

verde candeias

verde san francisco

rosewood

My husband likes the simple soapstone/AB honed look. I don't so much. I'd rather have something a little more exciting (and that doesn't show every little thing) but I don't like the small-flake type granites. They look too much like the laminate we have now (black and tan flecks) and I want to get something different.

Thank you for your help!
