Smallest but still functional kitchen?

In the basement of my soon-to-be-constructed house, I have a workshop area where I need a micro fridge/freezer, utility sink and some countertop. This basement might someday be an apartment, and this already almost makes a kitchenette.

There are ample examples online of boat and apartment kitchens which are truly tiny... some great, some horrifying. I've been trying to pull together the common components that can make these kitchens be tiny in size but still usable for someone who cooks their meals at home.

What do you think constitutes the absolute minimum for a usable kitchen for a single person?

My thinking is:

-Single bowl sink... 15" wide minimum?

-Trash can under sink

-Micro fridge/freezer

-Toaster oven/microwave combo

-2 burner cooktop

-24" of clear counter for workspace

-24" base cabinet for pots & silverware

-24" upper cabinet (or open shelves) for dishes/glasses/pantry

Your thoughts?
