I have white delicatus which is similar to BA, but more creamy in my case. I went with biscuit silgranit and I love it! Redroze also has biscuit with her BA, but she has since commented that she only chose that because few options were available at the time. here's a link to hers.

Thanks, I should have asked for pictures with your counter tops! That would help me visually know I am making the right choice.

I have BA on my short list and was going to do anthracite because my appliances are black. The slab I saw also had quite a bit of chocolate brown in it, so the dark brown wouldn't look bad either. The slab I saw in person was WHITE in the light areas, so I'd go with white, but if your slab is more cream, then the biscuit may be a better choice. I'd call the fabricator if you cannot get to your slab easily and ask if there is more white or cream if you want a lighter sink.

hmmm....i am very willing to go with stainless if i can be reassured that i won't regret it :) i think that might be the best choice since i won't have to worry about matching it up. blanco's website has an area to match counter tops to their sink colors, but i can't find a color on their site that even resembles BA, so that was helpless!

Brown!! Brown!! I had planned Ba and the blanco brown looked fab with it. I don't really like the black too much. I love black in general, but just not that one. I didn't want a lighter sink or I would have chosen biscuit.

Brown? Really?! I was thinking either white or stainless, unless I can find someone that owns the metallic gray from Blanco. I saw redroze regretted her biscuit choice, and she has BA in her kitchen. Hmm....now I am confused!

In my "old" kitchen, I had installed an awesome black Kohler sink. I did love the dark sink. Obviously with my new kitchen I went with stainless. I find the stainless is neutral and I love to abuse it. Not sure what you mean by you want to be reassured you won't regret it. I don't regret my choice, if that helps.

What I meant was I have never had a stainless sink, we currently have a Moen Stone, which I believe would be very similar to the Blanco sinks. I do like the sound, the "heft", the ease of cleaning our moen stone gives us. I just wondered if the stainless would give me all these same things? I do like the look of stainless for sure!

I second Breezy's advice. You need to be brave, be daring - it would look striking. Or be safe and get stainless which obviously would look nice too. Although it's not a good picture of the sink, I think it sort of shows what it would look like.

Why I recommended brown:

I can't stand ss sinks. I'm up front about that. You couldn't pay me to own one. That was out whatever I did for tops.

I was set on a blanco silgranit the minute I researched them.

All the BA I've seen around here for the past 22 months has a fair amount of brown. I didn't want a light sink like biscuit because it shows the dirt and pits of cilantro at the bottom or whathaveyou so much easier than dark.

The blanco black isn't as rich and deep a black as I like. Plus, I don't think it goes with BA. At least the numerous slabs I've seen.

Given all that, brown was the obvious choice for me.

In the end, I chose Carrara instead of BA. I chose the metallic gray blancos for that. I have the super single sitting on the floor and my prep sink is on the way. Metallic is really beautiful! Still, I'd choose brown for BA.

For what its worth, I love my blanco silgranit in biscuit. I have a light colored granite and worried about staining, etc. Now it's been three years since it was installed and I have no problems with staining. It was recommended to use Bar Keepers Friend (on this forum) and that's all I've used. Love it!
