It's a guarantee that Anthracite would be amazing with that stone and I've seen similar stones with the cafe brown and it's equally as pretty. So I think you could go with either of those two and have a successful out come either way. On the monitor though it seems your stone has gold or yellow undertones in it and not much gray so I don't thing the gray would work as harmoniously as the other two options.

I guess it depends on how you use your sinks. I wash in one and rinse in the other. I have always had 50/50 sinks and wouldn't go any other way. I always have one side free for food prep. We do dishes twice a day (do breakfast pots and lunch pots/knives then do dinner pots/knives, and what doesn't go into the dishwasher, gets washed, put on the drainer next to the sink, dried, then put away. I don't like having clean or dirty dishes/pots/knives in the sink for very long. Plus I have a small kitchen and need all that counter top space for preparing dinner. With a big single, I would have to be putting things to be washed on one side so I could wash veggies, chicken, on the other side . I use a lot of things preparing food and don't open the dishwasher each time I use a bowl or spoon and I wait until all the work is done. Then my husband cleans up! (good) I don't bake much, so large cookie sheets are only occasionally a problem, but then I manage, as they don't need to be soaked just soaped and rinsed. I have a Silgranit double and I love it. I don't like Corian. My sinks don't feel like plastic or corian. Yes, it is a composite material, but I'm not sure somebody would walk up to it and say "ooouuhhgg it's composite." They look metallically, silvery gray and wear like iron. If your mindset is that composite equals fake, then they aren't for you. Frankly, sometimes composite materials are better, IMHO, than natural. YMMV. And this is coming from someone who makes the huge majority of her food from scratch with organic and locally-sourced ingredients so natural matters to me. My cabinets were made by Cornerstone Cabinetry, a one-man shop in Buckley. His quote equaled or was better price wise and included much more than quotes I received elsewhere for semi-custom cabinets. My cabs were made without fillers and included end panels without extra charge. I received personal attention, hand holding, and patience with last minute changes as the cabs were being made that I doubt you'd receive from a big box store or many other places. After experiencing a custom shop and products, I can't believe I would have been happy with anything else.

This is a great thread, and is making me feel better! I'm looking at the exact same sink and was wondering/worrying about it being too big. My current sink is only about 3 inches larger that the larger portion of the sink so I was worried about the size, but then again, my sink is kind of small and I'd want something bigger if it will fit. I love the idea of this sink!!! My family tends to leave dishes on the counter because we only have the one sink and if the dishes are in the sink you can't fill a pitcher with water, rinse veggies, etc. I'm looking forward to having a sink to put dirty dishes in and a sink free for washing veggies, filling pitchers, etc. Also it will be great for washing dishes by hand!! I am still debating whether to put the disposal on the larger side (where the dirty dishes would mostly be) or the smaller side. Where did you order your sink??
