I would NOT order from them ever again.... If I could give eFaucets negative 2 stars, I would. I ordered a Kohler shower trim valve for a bathroom remodel. When the plumber showed up to install it, I was informed that I ordered the wrong item and that it wouldn’t work. I packaged it up carefully, contacted eFaucets to initiate the return, and shipped it off. I paid for shipping myself as I get an enormous discount with Fedex through my work. It was delivered to eFaucets 2 days later. After 2 weeks, I still had no received any confirmation whatsoever from eFaucets that my return had been received. I contacted them to inquire about what was happening with my return. Later that same afternoon, I was issued a refund for the two items in the return (I also returned the water valve that goes behind the wall in the shower). The next morning, I received an email from eFaucets (at this point they had had the trim valve in their possession for 12 days) stating that they were rescinding the credit for the trim valve because there was a scratch on it. The email I received from them included the email forwarded within eFaucets from the receiving department to the customer service department. It stated that there was damage to the box in which the item was shipped and that the credit should be reversed. So, to be clear, they received the item, did not contact me about receiving it, did not reach out to me to state that the box was damaged in transit, and then after 12 days of it sitting in their warehouse, claimed that it was damaged. I have a REALLY hard time believing that Fedex damaged the box. I have shipped hundreds of packages with Fedex and have literally never had a single damage claim. Having packaged these items personally, I find it exceptionally difficult to believe that Fedex damaged the box and that somehow it just scratched the face of this trim valve. But, I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt. I contacted eFaucets and asked to be sent pictures of the damaged box and of the damage to the returned trim valve. I could not get a manager on the phone. I was told multiple times when I called that she was the only manager at eFaucets and that she was “in a meeting”. I left a message and was told I would get a return phone call. After 3 business days I heard nothing. Sound of crickets. I called again on the 3rd business day. I finally reached the lone manager and was assured that she would send the requested pictures so that I could file a claim with Fedex. I NEVER heard back from anyone. Nothing. So, I contacted my credit card company and disputed the reversal of the credit. Thankfully, they took care of it. In short, I wouldn’t order ANYTHING from this wretched company. My suspicion is that they damaged the item after it arrived and tried to pin it on me. Never again.

My mother painted hers years ago. Some type of faux finish. They held up pretty well for several years, but didn't age well. My cousin helped me update her home for sale (as I live out of state). They did some kind of spray on finish. I haven't seen it in person, but it looks amazing in pictures. Almost like quartz. Even turned the bright yellow sink black. It only cost $500 for her huge kitchen and can with a lifetime guarantee. Everyone who has seen the house has told me they were surprised I spent the $$ for new countertops! I will try to find out what its called.

I am not familiar with a satin finish. Is it at all bumpy? I saw a sample yesterday with a flamed brushed finish and it was slightly bumpy. I am not sure it would be good for writing. I am also considering soapstone, but I am just doing a small peninsula and am hoping to get a remnant. I am assuming the the AB is more popular and therefore I will have more remnants to choose from. If I got lucky and found a SS remnant that is the right color, size and price, I will go with it. November - I like the AB with the oil, although I probably like the charcoal color without the oil better. I am going to try the oil on the sample later. Right now I have two plumbers under my sink and I would have to climb over them to get to my mineral oil!

OK> So, I'm reading this post due to a recent experience with the plumber my GC is using for our renovation. I got a babysitter to watch my toddler so I could go look at fixtures at their showroom with my baby. So, I get there and they don't have many of the nicer brands on display- they want to show me everything in a catalog!! Well, thank you but I can do that at home. So, fine- I briefly look at the catalog and pick a few things to get prices. They gave me some pricing and I left. So- wouldn't you want to see products in person if you plan to invest nearly $2000 on them?? I dragged my two small children to another local plumbing outfit to see the higher end stuff I got quoted for at the previous place. The prices were more than $500 different!!! I mean to do I have stupid written on my head b/c I have a newborn? Do they just think I don't have time to research and will just take their price?? This mother has an MBA thank you very much. Fine. So I talked to my contractor and he said to approach them on the issue. I did. They claim their product is better quality and that you can get the same things from other dealers but they aren't as heavy... blah blah blah. That may be true for some Kohler fixtures, but not Rohl!!! And I don't even believe them at that. For the amount of money saved I can buy a whole new fixture in a few years if I decide to change it or it goes bad!! Can someone please tell me if these people are just jerking around with me?? I thought about how they may try to pad the rest of the bill if they adjust the fixture prices, so I'm not really sure what to do with this mess. This is why I do NOT trust vendors like this- b/c of dishonest people who try to make excuses for their ridiculous prices.
