Hi Kitty, I remember the manufacturer rep and appliance dealer both having recommendations for cookware, and I saw an interesting WOK designed for induction. I haven't bought any yet cause my cooktop isn't installed yet but I'll be interested to see what recommendations you get. I know Costco sells a couple of induction cookware sets; don't know if a non-stick pan is included.

I threw out all my nonstick because of the potential health concerns.

When cooking meat, deglaze the pan with wine. Or broth.
Flour things like pancakes, well, just use a little more oil (and go for a jog later ;)

Vinegar, bar keepers friend, a scrubbie, all work.

I contact Electrolux. They said as long as it has magnetic bottom. It is fine.

I didn't want to buy non stick either because of the health issues. But food stuck to the pan is really annoying.
I ruined bunch of pot stickers yesterday and I put a lot of oil in. At least 3 times more than what I used in the nonstick pan. Still horribly stuck to the bottom.

I too am concerned about the health concerns with non stick but I do have one SS All Clad non stick fry pan for eggs.
As for wok I wouldn't think of using non stick because of using high heat for stir frying.
As for sticking in your SS pans, heat the pan first, then add the oil and let the oil heat before adding food.

How about cast irons. I have one but it is too heavy.
Also meat stick on it. But I guess if I season it good enough. It maybe ok.

Love my cast iron on my induction! I bought it at an antique store for like $2 (well before induction got popular :). Well seasoned to say the least. Actually, DH cooks his eggs in it and then tends to leave it sitting on the cooktop. I WAH, so I usually find it around noon when I go looking for leftovers for lunch. It's easier to clean up than the stainless even with 5 hour old eggs on it.

Heat the pan up before adding any oil and starting cooking.

I use a Joyce Chen carbon steel wok (BBB). My small non-stick skillet is Emerilware from Bed Bath and Beyond. The large non-stick is Faberware I ordered online. I also have enameled and non-enameled cast iron cookware as well as stainless pieces. The non-stick works best for eggs, at least for me.

The problem isn't your pan--it's how you're using it.

This video link has been floating around various GW Forums for quite some time now. It shows in great detail the proper way to heat a pan so that stuff won't stick.

I'm not a great wokker, but I've been pleased with my Le Creuset wok on the induction. I like that it has a round interior bottom, but because of the small footprint it doesn't take advantage of the high wattage of the biggest element. It is heavy. The shape makes it easier to move around than some cast iron, but it's still big and heavy. It also takes a long time to get really hot because the heat has to spread up the sides. Once it's hot, however, it doesn't cool down fast when you put stuff in it, the way a carbon steel wok does, so it recovers heat pretty well, in my estimation. There's no one handed flinging with it, however.

WOW, the video is quite impressive. Never got into that detail on proper heating. I will try that. Even just for fun :)

Before then, I will use the non stick pans for eggs and prepare the cast irons.

I read about Le Cruset enameled cast iron. But someone on amazon said it is still stick? May be another proper heating issue?

I have a large pan that is non stick for my induction that I use really only for pancakes and eggs. It is scanpan ctx.. it goes for about 150.00 but it has been well worth it. I use it all the time for my family.. and it even browns foods if need be and you virtually need no fat! I believe it is made from titanium

If you go into a restaurant where the cooking is visible to the customers, you'll not find one expensive or non-stick pan. They buy those pans you find at the restaurant supply stores in china town (ok, or the china town equiv in your city :) The video is a really good explanation of why it works!
