Question about induction cooking-- big pans and non-stick pans

enright

I have been reading about the benefits of induction cooking and am intrigued but I have 2 concerns. First, I like non-stick pans because they are easy to clean. Food sticks to stainless steel pans. I hate to scrub pans to remove guck. Is this a problem with induction cooking. Do any pans suitable for induction cooktops have non-stick surfaces?? Second, I have a large family and tend to use large pans. Is this a problem with induction units? Usually my pans are larger than my gas burner but the flame heats the whole pan--even those parts larger than the flame. Can I cook with large pans on an induction unit?
