What wall color go well with Chantilly Lace (BM) ceiling for bedrooms?
Comments (10)If you are doing Chantilly Lace on the ceiling do it flat . I used Chantilly Lace on my walls in a flat because I have a new home and they only do flat here for new homes. If your woodwork paint is oil Chantilly Lace will turn in a year to a softer white. Satin is beautiful in oil but not in latex. Latex for moulding should be in semi gloss in my opinion. If you have another room with your gray flooring look at china white with Chantilly lace... I have a lot of gray and china white looks great....See MoreTrim color to go with BM Chantilly Lace walls
Comments (39)Color is always so much fun when it comes to remodeling! Chantilly Lace is a very bright white (High Hide) color. It's beautiful! I usually recommend that people reserve this color for baseboards and woodwork. However, if you love it for your walls, you could always decrease the sheen on the walls and increase the sheen for the woodwork. It will give the illusion of two different colors (both white) but still allow your woodwork to pop! Here is a blog post that is loaded with ideas that may help. Comments (11)When putting 2 whites or a white & off white together - you want a difference in chroma of at least 0.2 to ensure one doesn’t make the other appear dingy or dirty. In a balanced quality of light Chantilly will look as it‘s colour notation describes, a crisp neutral white, but in certain light it can hint green or even a little blue-white. You would need to test in your space. I will include another great diagram from TLoC showing a lot of popular whites/off whites....See MoreWhites Dilemma! Chantilly Lace Simply/Super White.
