I have definitely not seen that table. The height is unique...... I will keep my eyes open. Meanwhile, here is your photo:

I think what you need to google is "adjustable coffee table" and/or "adjustable dining table" ... interchange "convertible" for "adjustable" ... just based off of the odd height in that photo and the cross-legs, I am guessing it is adjustable. They have staged the photo to cover up the feet of the table...

Thanks, everyone! In the caption they called it a low dining table so I didn't really think about it being adjustable, but looking at where the legs meet the top, it does look like it moves and that maybe it is metal.

Lolauren, I have seen the table you showed before and do like it, but was looking for something bigger. Thanks for showing my picture for me.

I wish the magazine was more helpful with sourcing. Now I'm going to be obsessed with either finding it, or figuring out a way to make it myself.

I have found that table by googling dual purpose furniture for small spaces. I think they showed it a few years ago on Oprah. We saw one in a furniture store once too. Great idea for the space challenged rooms. But my favorite was a desk that turned into a bed without removing anything from the desk top. Very innovative.

I had seen a very similar table a week or so ago. Just retraced where I had been and found the link for you. It isnt exact but it is very close.
