The frameless mirror in context.

When I went home to my parents' for the holiday I decided to take some pictures of the frameless mirrors in the bathrooms.

These bathrooms are 1969, wallpaper mid-80s.

The first picture shows the powder room, where the mirror covers the entire wall opposite door. In this context, I think it is not a decorative mirror, because it has no boundaries of its own until it hits another plane. (With the exception of the splash at the bottom). I think this is the most effective use of a full mirror. Without it the room would be a very small powder room with a mirror. Please excuse the elder-assist paraphernalia

In the "kid's" (48-54 :)), this was used again for a niche wall over the double vanity.Maybe not as effective, but I would have trouble seeing this bath with individual mirrors too. I think with frameless mirrors, size matters, as well as where the edges are.
