And it's not helping me at all. There is so very little difference between the price of the choices that I don't know how I'll ever choose. We priced Omega Dynasty mixed with Omega Custom. We priced it in both quartersawn oak and in painted. We also priced both finishes in inset and full overlay.

I had seriously hoped that there would be a huge price difference and that would drive my decision, but there really wasn't. The oak overlay is $24,513. Oak inset is $28,286. The painted overlay is $25,486 and painted inset is $29,490. To further complicate matters if we go with the oak, then I want stain grade window and baseboard trim (more money.) If we paint the cabinets, then we can use a paint grade wood trim.

On another note, she was so impressed with my kitchen design that she asked me twice if I was a kitchen designer. I told her that when I retire from teaching that was my plan. ;-) Of course I've had three years to plan it.
