Would you ever recreate a room?

Not a room from a magazine.

Would you ever move to a different house and essentially recreate a room in your old house all over again in the new one?

I am not really talking about ending up with the same room just because you didn't buy anything new, yet.

I am talking about intentionally making a new room that looked like something you already had. Not necessarily verbatim, but distilling the essence of one room into another, perhaps.

Just wondering about this because a couple of interior designers have said that they have had the "same" living room for thirty years in different houses and slightly different variations. Also because I may be recreating the childhood bedroom of one client (in a more adult form) because she is inheriting the furniture. Another reason is, that, in my new house, I could make a room for my father that looks very much like the room he has at home (especially the room he had at home circa 1980) and like it in my own house.
