You know, she thinks that tree was put there just for her. Too cute.

How in the world...? I've only caught my kitty licking the light bulbs. That's weird enough!

Cute! How did your tree stay standing? How many ornaments did you find on the floor, lol? I gave up trying to keep the bottom part of my tree pretty but am thankful they don't climb up in.

Does she tend to eat plants? Have you found her chewing on the tree (not that it's a real plant, in your case, but she might want to chew on it anyway)? We have not had large trees the past several years because of our plant-eating furkids...I do like your glass ornaments, though. Are they old?

Many years ago, we had a cat that ate some of the old fashion tinsel.

My poor Mom saw her walking around the house with tinsel hanging out of her behind. When my Mom told the story, she said that after she pulled the tinsel out, the cat said "Merry Christmas!"

Dee, I've been around pets all my life and nothing grosses me out anymore. People hair comes out of dog's hineys that have to be pulled out. lol

Thankfully Lizzie hasn't knocked off one ornament. In the picture she's dangerously close to some of my favorite glass ornaments, but that side of the tree wasn't heavily decorated because it's close to the wall.

I have a ton of houseplants and she's not interested in them, except the baby spiders that hang from the Spider plant. She always bats at them then breaks one.

She sleeps under the tree since it's been up, because it has an old quilt under it. She's my girl. :) We found her as a tiny kitten in the backyard two summers ago.

Fortunately my labra-dorks don't have any interest in the tree decorations. Now if I were to hang cheese chunks or chicken fingers from the branches, that would be another story. Merry Christmas from Homer and Molly!

The first year we had our cat, we woke up to a crash and a sideways tree. Every year since, our tree has been tethered to the ceiling with an eye hook and wire. Of course, she gives the tree a wide berth now.

Labradorks! hahah!!! We call ours the Blabs (bad labs).

Don't have a picture of Pop (cat) in the tree, he hid too quickly for me to get it, but he climbed the tree the moment I set it up. I had to wire it to the bookcase so it wouldn't fall over. Then Aurora (dog) found one of the stuffed reindeer I use to decorate the tree with. I chased her through the house to get it. I was hesitant to put the decorations on the tree because it's full of stuffed animals...the Blabs favorite toys.

I put up a real tree in the living room and Pop tried to eat it. Then he sat there watching as I decorated it with vintage glass balls. One squirt from the water bottle was all it took. Now he just sits there and stares at it, while glaring at me out of the corner of his eye.

When I had cats a(had two at the same time) they never climbed the tree but did swat the lower ornaments off. I always put the unbreakables down there. My dog won't go near the tree but does keep looking at the presents.

Oakley, that's hilarious! How does she not tip the tree?

The first week our tree was up Artie would visit it late at night and pull the skirt away to drink from the stand. Now that it's no longer absorbing water he's lost interest.
