What kind of bathroom do you expect with this type of house?

We are building a house- not sure what style I could call it-contemporary american country?

Just to give you a feel, the house will have:

Wide plank pine floors

flat panel door and simple square profile wide trim

white shaker style cabinets in the kitchen

The hard wood floors will be eveverywhere except the bathrooms and mudroom.

I kind of at a loss at to what type of tile to choose for the baths. Probably the most consistent would be some type of small hexagonal black and white tile- but this tile is expensive and all that grout is hard to keep clean. I've found a porcelin tile that mimics white marble that we're using for the master and another bath. I have still have the laundry room, mudroom, and 2 other baths to choose for.

Any ideas? Slate? Or does that look too contemporary/asian influenced? Then there's the variety of biege tile that looks kind of like travertine/tumbled. This is what DH wants to use- but I think this is all wrong with the style of the house.
