It's a special time of year to look at all of the homes of the various GW members, decked out in holiday themes. We couldn't do much this year so I've lived vicariously through all of yours.

I just popped on for a few minutes. Trying to put off doing all the last minute preparations for Christmas. I have a bad cold, and feel yucky. ;( It's 13 degrees here, but no snow, after several days of rain.

What a wonderful thread! I also would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy, Happy Chanukkah, and all blessings and good health for all of my GW friends. I've been fighting a nasty cold for the past few weeks and so has my 13-year-old DD. She has a lot of body/muscle aches and joint pain which has been very worrisome, though so far her doctor has not been able to find a more serious cause other than a nasty viral infection. It reminds me to be grateful for what we cannot buy--good health, family and good friends. Though my dining room chairs will have to wait to be complete until the new year, that's OK.

We already had our Major Holiday, as we celebrate the Ur-Holiday, the Winter Solstice :) and no one seems to wish Happy Solstice, but we consider Christmas our Bonus Holiday so we wish everyone the happiest of whatever holidays you choose!
