CL advice wanted: Should I cave, or should I get stubborn?

Long story short:

We are selling a large-scale Oak queen size bedroom set. Headboard is 10' across, takes up a whole wall w/ lights and mirrors, and all that jazz. Also, a large, 9 drawer dresser w/ mirror and a large chest of drawers w/mirrored top vanity drawer. Metal frame included, no mattress, no boxspring.

So we started it at $1500, then while taking it apart to store it we found some fading and a slight bubble in the wood from a glass of water that apparently spilled and sat too long. We then "marked it down" to $650.

Two people have offered me $500 without even seeing it. I countered one person at $575 and they are considering it. The other one I told I would think it over.

Am I nuts? I think $500 is a pretty good deal for a huge oak BR set like this, but maybe I'm crazy?? I am very eager to get rid of it. But, $500 seems really low. FWIW, we paid $4500 (with mattress) about 6 years ago.
