My wall art dilemma - again

So I posted a while ago about my living room, where I painted this directly on the wall:

Please note, that in real life the wall color is not so gold.

Anyway, I decided that I need to fill in the space to the sides of my painting, and have painted some panels using the same paints I originally used, but the color looks different here. I know that I need to somehow add some dark brown to these canvases, which I have cut and pasted onto the picture of my living room.

Then yesterday I saw these sort of modern metal scrolly things that have bits of the same colors that I used in my painting. I took a picture of one at the store, so the wall color behind it doesn't match my wall color:

I think that any of these options would likely not be permanent, as I would eventually like to paint a large abstract canvas to go there, but definitely need to practice my painting skill a bit before I do that. Also, I tend to take a long time to get anything done, so a temporary fix could last several years.

Or my other option is just leave it alone for now.
