Connecting two elbows together...

So my range hood will be mounted on the inside wall. I cannot run the vent through the ceiling (there's a upper floor) and I cannot run it between the ceiling joists (because there's a ceiling joist directly above the range hood). So the only method is run it into the laundry room behind the kitchen, which is no problem.

However, the manual said do not connect two elbows together for "the most efficient and quiet operation". And that there needs to be a minimum of 24" between the elbows. This is probably the only way I can vent the range hood. Will this be problem with the sound created by the air? Anyone ever had this problem before? Thoughts?
