Anyone have the Kenmore Elite bridge-burner gas range?

No, not one that burns bridges :) - but it's a slide-in range with a 27K btu bridge burner for a griddle (better powered for that griddle than any other bridge burner I've seen). We are needing a new range, and that and the 17,2K btu big burner up front are mighty attractants to us.

Does anyone have this and would any of those anyones be willing to share thoughts on the stovetop *and* the oven? Have you tried doing any stir-frying on the 17.2? Could you take off the burner grate and put a flat-bottom wok right on the top of that burner, to get maximum heat out of it? (or would that put it too much up the sides?) How is the "convection" in this gas oven, anyway?

Thanks in advance. With the friends & family discount this Sunday we're really feeling it's an offer we can almost not refuse, unless someone says something really heinous. We can't even find a slide-in range that excites us other than this one, until we get up to the BlueStar area, which is farther than we want to go right now. Not justified by how much/what we cook. So if this model works for people who have had it for a while, we're game for now...
