Comments (43)Thanks again. Can't show the mirror because.... .....I haven't found the right one yet!! So, we have the full length one still across from the door, but no mirror yet. I did find one, but was very hesitant on using it because the frame was 4" thick and fear of odd shadows really troubled me. I returned it. Tis the season for holiday stuff, and no mirrors in the store. I'm sure I'll get one soon though. It's on the radar....See MoreAll black appliances- too much black?? Too dark??
Comments (12)My two cents.....why not get a panelled frig to match your cabinets. "Some" black appliances will look real nice. However, to me frigs in black look big scary and dominating. I feel like they are ready to charge, trample and pack me inside to keep me quiet. I think black refigerators are jealious of beautiful kitchen cabinetry and want all the attention. If you have a big screen tv from the late eighties there is always the risk of them taking off with each other in the middle of the night. If the refrigerator becomes PG you will have thousands of large original cell phone parts in gray at your door step. Do you really want this responsibility? No offence to those who have black refrigerators, my two cents is just that. All your kitchens are gorgeous! Can't help my frig weirdness ....sorry....See MoreI need a flat gray--not too dark, not too light
Comments (3)PS -- not sure what color is on your wall now behind the test colors, but existing surrounding colors and the type of lighting you have in the room strongly affect how you perceive color. (Surrounding colors make sample colors look more like their opposites). Try to look at large swatch samples without "color pollution" from existing colors in the room, and in the correct lighting....See MorePaint - How dark is too dark
Comments (3)Pretty hard to give useful feedback because what the color ends up looking like depends significantly on lighting. What I will say is that rooms with little natural light benefit from light, bright colors to prevent them from feeling like caves. These colors seem a bit deep and dark to me. I'd recommend painting a 4x4' sample square on the wall and seeing how you feel about it at different times of day....See MoreRelated Professionals
