BM Creekside Green, SW Grassland /Svelte Sage recommendations ??
Comments (3)I have Svelte Sage in my kitchen. thought about grasslands but decided to go one step down. If I had to choose from those, I'd do Grasslands in both the bedroom and bathroom. I just had my MBR and MB painted, and I used the same color in both (SW Sundew). Nw my rooms are not really big; my whole house (3 Br, 2Ba) is only a little over 1100 sq ft. If you have a bigger room than mine, I could see using a lighter color in the bath....See MoreSvelte Sage of Grassland?
Comments (1)Both colors look very similar, but I think svelte sage is a bit on the lighter side. Good luck on your choice. I'm in the middle of a renovation and am considering a sage color for both my kitchen sunroom combo....See MoreSW Svelt Sage or Grassland for kitchen
Comments (19)As you can see in the above photo, the color looks bright and sharp, not warm and inviting. That is what I'm trying to avoid with my next color. But, I do not want a mint color either. My kitchen is on the north side of the house with a window at the north and one on the east side of the house at the table. The lighting does play a big factor on the color here. I like many of the rooms that have been posted on this thread and thank you for showing me. I do agree with Parma, when looking at the photo that I posted on another thread and one of the Svelt Sage just under it, the s. sage appears a bluer shade of the green. Any ideas about a warm, brownish green that would look good in my kitchen? Can anybody do a mock up for me please? We just got our new counters installed and redid the kitchen sink, where it is now showing the apron front. Tomorrow the bead board goes up and then I'll be ready to paint! Well, that is, if I can settle on a color! Thanks for your help! Terry...See MoreSW Clary Sage, anyone?
Comments (4)Thank you, everyone. Calla, your bathroom is lovely. I have similar issues. The house is "open plan" which means the colors HAVE to flow. The hallways is a warm beige and the kitchen is an olive green. I love both of them, and I need something that will flow between them that also will bring out the oak furniture. Ah, I'm off to Benjamin Moore to get a fandeck, see if they have anything that works better than Clary Sage. If not, I'm off so SW to get a sample quart. Wheeeee!...See Moredlfrun66
