Comments (30)It's better if you find a smaller fabricator with proper licenses and insurance. Don't go with big box stores but also make sure not to do business with contractors or freelancer shops who cut quartz in their driveway, yard or a garage. Check the reviews, ask to see some of the work they already did, and that should be enough to make you certain that you're doing the job with the real professionals. Comments (8)We are dealing with the same issue. Our Handstone counter has a J seam. The majority of it has been epoxied and it looks fine except for a curved 6 inches which is open enough to put my fingernail in. Twice now we have had the fabricator in to look at it. They think we should be happy with their terrible work. Sadly, I have seen a counter with a j seam and you would never know that it is even there so I know it can be done. Our fabricator said that since he couldn't see the one that I saw, he couldn’t comment.. just pathetic....See Morequartz countertop seam acceptable?
