My humble mini make over kitchen

It started out as a decent upgrade when Reagan was president. What happened afterward was a long list of incompetence. They did not do the proper math and the bar over-hanged the back burner that was going to be installed. The result is a burnt backslash when the front burners failed.

Finally, it becomes a priority to replace the cooktop. We order a Wolf 30" drop-in cooktop. Then we need to replace the counter making it level with a new surface. All quotes for solid surface or quartz are fantastically expensive. Formica Madras Indian Slate is chosen. Then we need a slate backsplash. Ah heck, just check it out. It is the kirchen I am working on when I thought I was going to work on the backyard project. I want to do it right. In stages. Avoiding mission creep.

Ladies and Gentleman check it out and give me some feedback.

At this time I want to do Formica Madras Indian Slate honed with slate mosiac backsplash and green paint.

Help me ladies and gentlemen, you are our only hope.
