1 Large island or 2 Smaller ones??
Comments (40)nidnay - I will have to measure the kitchen later today. I actually thought about closing the walkway into the kitchen off by the stove/stairs, adding lower cabinets going off of the wall by the stove with a sink in that row and doing a bar top and then adding a narrow island in the middle. Pretty much making the kitchen into a u shape. Heres a pic of the layout idea I was thinking...If I did it that way it would still leave like 3 entry points into the kitchen. lol Thoughts??...See MoreElongating My Island or Create 2 Smaller ones
Comments (1)You need to show us a floor plan of what is there now and what you want to change. Plus a floor plan showing how the kitchen relates to the other rooms in the house....See MoreOne Large Bathroom or 2 small ones
Comments (17)Anne, I found some map, but it's US only, and year is 2016 http://www.geocurrents.info/place/north-america/northern-california/mapping-the-extraordinary-cost-of-homes-in-california (the second one shows the States..click to see better) Vidhi, I agree with Patricia and others..the plan would help. Also, it's so personal and depends on a family.. (I grew up like Anne I guess ..and now I'm also more like Anne, knowing my family too..the more bathrooms the merrier)) And somebody else, knowing their family and possible unique needs and preferences, might leave it just one, with best layout possible.) Would be less worried about whether a house needs one bigger one, or two smaller ones, given the amount of other bathrooms already there too..I also live in HCOLA area....See MoreBathroom Vanity Mirror... 1 large or 2 smaller?
Comments (2)Sorry, the pics not that great... only thing I have at this point. Cabinets will be white chrome hardware/faucets, white rectangle sinks and fantasy brown granite. Floors medium-light wood look tile planks. Hope this helps. Thanks for your thoughts....See MoreBuehl
