Love the cab colour! I'm also having backsplash issues, so I'm no help to others, but I think a white subway would look wonderful.

We also have off white cabinets and we chose to go with Daltile Arctic White matte 3 x 6 tiles with Alabaster grout.

Our quartz counter is cream,white, and taupe with black veining and garnet flecks. Our floor, under the cardboard, is a medium brown stained oak 3inch plank.

At first we thought it would be too much white in the kitchen, with our appliances being white, but we wanted a classic look (we live in a 90 year old home) that would be timeless and not look dated in the future. We wanted a look could be livened up with colorful accessories, if need be. Our home is our forever home and we didn't want to do another remodel down the road. One was enough!

I think you can't go wrong with classic white subway.

Possibly also a nice white carrara marble subway tile would look classic too, complimenting your white countertop, but being just a little darker.

I can't tell for sure in your photos, but it looks like your counters are a very light solid color and your cabinets look like they are grey. If both are true, I wonder if a marble tile with a bit of grey veining would look nice? I don't love the tin sample you are showing - I don't think it ties in with the rest of the kitchen.

Sorry, it's hard to tell from the picture. The counters are Cambria Torquay and the cabinets are Oyster Bay by SW. It's grayish blue color. Here's a picture that's a little better.

Love your cabinet color! I think a marble tiles will clash with your counters - too many veins. I think a white subway would look great, or possibly a very light grey, or a white with grey undertones would compliment the veining in your countertops.

Here's a link to someone who had Cambria Torquay. Their paint color on the cabinets was a bit greyer than blue. I don't know if this helps or not.

I saw this kitchen with Torquay countertops with a crackle tile with color variation from tile to tile. It was lovely. My phone didn't capture the true color of the tile, which was a light green. Not suggesting green, but crackle subway tiles would be pretty. Hbrrbh has her kitchen reveal currently posted with Fireclay crackle subway tile.

Or something like this, lliN's kitchen. The backsplash is Suprema Gloss "Touch Of Grey".
