I know it's hot outside, BUT...

I can't wait to get instant hot! My question is about placement. I've been given the option to put it near my faucet -- or -- to the side, about an inch down from the top of the sink. Sounds odd to put in on the side, but what do you think? thanks!!

I had my Insinkerator about 3 inches to the right of my faucet, which was in the center of the sink. I am probably going to put the new one in the same place when my new sink is in.

I love my Insinkerator. When demo started I forgot about it since we were putting in a new disposal, etc. The contractor took it out, didn't drain it and put it in the garage. By the time I thought about it again, it was moldy and icky and disgusting. Instead of trying to clean it up, I just bought a new one on eBay. If you haven't bought one, the prices on eBay are better than most.

Good for you, Robert!!! Yes, please link your store to your blog!!!! That will be very sad if you can't post pictures here, I'll just have to bookmark your other sites and 'keep an eye on you' :) I have a sliver of a memory of my Granny cracking marbles like crazy when I was little, but I was thinking she boiled them, then iced them. hmmmm, there's got to be a 'how to' on the net somewhere! I agree with ucvinero. Without generosity of some greatest chile growers all around of this globe, I would not have such selection of plants what I have now. I could have offered seeds for Condo, but I like more the milder C chinenses and my first Chocolate Habanero has not yet had any ripe fruit. I have to admit that the capitalized first letters annoy me and make the messages difficult to read for me. English is not my first language and I try to write my messages clear and sometimes even type them in word processor, which has spell checking. Sari

It's the fan and the television blaring Bud. It will drive a person crazy. Sitting in a corner is the worst place to be because no air circulates around you and the television on just creates more heat. Forget the stove, fire up the grill and grill outside. How hot does it get in B.C. in summer? I would go outside and sit in a comfy lawn chair under a shady tree or create your own shade dressed to respectable minimum with a gallon of cold drink. That's what I do.

In my design opinion, I find that the marble backsplash with a marble look quartz countertop makes the countertop look more fake than it is. I would stick to a solid quartz for a countertop if you want a real marble backsplash. It's very very hard to pull off both without one looking fake.
