My painter is trying to talk me out of using aura...

...so I'm second guessing myself, of course.

We're all set (finally!) to paint the kitchen. I told my painter I wanted BM aura matte in winter white, and he's been going crazy about how bad aura paint is! (He's painted for us before and I like his work, so he's not an unknown nut job.) He says if you need to alternate roller and brush work (around cabinet edges, for instance) that you can really notice the difference. He also says that it often takes 3 coats to get good coverage. And he also says that it dries so fast that it's a problem--I didn't quite understand why--so he's asked the store to mix it with a retardant to make it dry more slowly.

I said I knew a lot of people (gardenwebbers!) who'd had a great experience with aura. But I'm nervous. What would you do?

Thanks for your input.
